Previous Show - 6th November 2001
With the bomb scares in Birmingham City centre sending the buses into chaos, the audience was clearly going to be reduced. However, a huge mass of regulars still managed to make it to the club....and what a show it was. The comedy atmosphere was perfect, the comedians were out-of-this-world and I ended up with sore jaw muscles from laughing so much
Above, our resident compere Geoff Whiting. He has been compering this club for three years, yet his material is fresher and funnier than ever!
Headline act for the night was Steve Best
Steve was fantastic. An utterly manic act, our photographer had problems keeping up with him. No sooner had he done one impersonation than he was suddenly into another physical gag. The photo on the left, shows Steve trying to insert the microphone into his eye socket.
er.....the photo to the immediate left shows Steve doing his 'pulling handkerchiefs out of his bum' joke

Wilco Terwijn.....proving that there is alot of comedy talent in Holland
Steve Williams.....what a suprise of the evening. He has only done a few gigs and he was utterly brilliant. Geoff Whiting afterwards was predicting that this guy is now on the fast track for stardom....and you saw him here first!

Finally, a big thank you to the audience for being.....well, a great audience!
