In my
clearly biased view, this was a fantastic show. A great compere,
two brilliant open spots.....and Duncan Oakley - what a great
act.
The room
was packed to the rafters and Dom
Carroll got the audience howling with laughter
early on.

Compere:
Dom Carroll
First
of the two ten-minute open spots was Paul
Kerensa.....what a great act. Based around mathematical
equations on a flip chart he had the audience in stitches

Paul Kerensa
Next on
was Louise Stevenson.
A Scottish lass whose jokes had a sting in the tail. Definately,
one who has a great comedy future ahead....and remember you
saw her here first.

Headline
act of the night was Duncan Oakley.
I personally have never been keen on guitar based acts, but
Duncan was different. A fast moving act, you just never had
time to stop laughing from one song, before his was launching
into the next set of belly laughs. Great!

The middle
section of the show was taken up by Sarah
Kendall. She is hot property at the moment......and
her confidence in handling the audience as spot on.
