A full house
had the rare chance to see comedy genius Omid
Djalili perform his Edinburgh Festival show in the
intimate atmosphere of a pub comedy club.
Omid rightly
showed why his Edinburgh shows have sold out for the last seven
years. My jaw muscles were hurting at the end of his hour long
performance. He rightly deserved his encore.
He then
discovered his car was locked inside the office car park next
door. Ooppps!!! He had to catch a taxi back to London. £140.
So that he could meet a Channel 4 film crew at 6am.
Support
came in the form of Marcus
Birdman. A great act with excellent material. However,
his laid back style did throw some members of the audience (including
myself), who at one stage thought he had actually forgotten
his material. See him, he has some great one liners, that I
have been using today.
