A
full house saw an evening of comedy showing the two extremes
of the profession - an experienced professional and a new-bie.

Opening act
was Christian Reilly.
Formerly a member of Otis Lee Cranshaw's backing band - now
going solo. This guy is going to go far

Newbie comedian,
Katie Clark.
She had very good stage presense ie no nerves, but we recommended
to her afterwards to try to make the gags shorter and punchier.
Every comedian has to start somewhere, and unfortunately its
normally at gigs were the audience remains quiet. We urged Katie
to keep at it, since she definately has talent. A
few more gags and this time next year she could win the BBC
New Comedy Awards

Professional comedian, Susan
Murray, paid us a visit to test out new material

The pro - Colin Cole.
Colin showed how it should be done. Short snappy clever gags.
Even the most ardent heckler would be quitened by him
