A comfortably
full house had a great night of entertainment.....but my camera
packed up after one photo. Doh! I'm now busy trying to work
out what went wrong.
For me,
the act of the night was Dalton
Trombo's Reluctant Cabaret. What a great act and
I have no photographs of them. This is definately a act I want
back.
Al
Barrie
did a great job as headline act, replacing Dominic Frisby at
the last minute - his wife just gave birth.
Al Barrie
- why isn't he in Birmingham more. He is a political aware comedian,
with some very clever observations. For example, I didn't realise
that the childrens book that President George W Bush claims
to have been the first one he ever read, was actually published
when George was 19 years old. Wow!
Toju
did a sterling performance as opening act and Geoff
Whiting was ever brilliant as compere. When will
he perform at the Glee Club....that's the question of the night!!!!!
