Manchester
United versus Milan affected the number of punters tonight -
not our usually full self......but a great night of entertainment
anyway!

First on was Rebecca
Carrington - showing us the comedy potential of the
cello

In the middle
we had Kitsch Kittens.
They have been doing the corporate circuit alot, but now want
to get into the comedy circuit. They are excellent - the costumes,
the Amercian accents and the gags are done to perfection. If
you're a promoter book them, before they get big

Al
Pitcher
- the compere for the evening. Al used to the regular compere
at our club. He has now been snapped up by Avalon Promotions
and is fast rising up the comedy ladder to stardom. It was great
to see him back. Still as brilliant as ever

Headliner
was John Oliver.
He looks and sounds like David Baddiel, but is twenty times
funnier. I nearly knocked my pint over, creased with laughter
when he told the story about the business man getting his head
trapped in the doors of the London Underground Train - sheer
genius!
