This show
saw us kicking off the new Autumn season......but where was
everyone? For those who did make, they saw a great nights entertainment,
finished off by a star in the making.

In the middle section we had this great new act - Helmut
the German Tourist. This was the first time this character has
appeared on stage, and the material is very strong and well
throught out.

Finally the headline act, Mark
Walker. This act is quite simply brilliant. I personally
would put him on a par with the likes of Addy Borgh or Noel
James. He did fifty minutes for us and his material was top
class. His section on his proposed 'Gay Spiderman - The Musical'
is sheer genius and what can I say about the section on his
brain and willy talking to each other. This guy deserves to
be at the top and at this rate he definately will be.

Many thanks
must go to these two members of the audience who help Patrick
Monahan, the compere, recreate a scene from Lord
of the Rings.

Opening the show was Dalton
Trombo's Reluctant Cabaret - now a foursome. A great
act, that always goes down well at the Cheeky Monkey.
