What a great show!

first act was Nick Page. This guy is so good. He has a laid back confidence. He gags just keep popping out almost to a constant rhythm. He had the audience laughing from the start to end of his set

Mike Gunn and his one hour Edinburgh Show. Brilliant! He performed this as a Powerpoint presentation. He explained the different stages of addiction (of anything) and then went through his own story, using this stages, as a heroin addict. Very funny and very moving.

Compere: Sy Thomas. He is fairly new to the circuit, but he is very confident. Okay, he lacks the same number of gags as a more experienced comic, BUT the audience really liked him. He engaged with the audience and was able to recognise very quickly when any conversations with the audience were leading down a comedy cul-de-sac.....this is a must for any compere. Alot of talent and one to watch out for in the future.
