| Audiences
numbers were low for this show (immediately after the Bank Holiday weekend and
clashing with the Champions League football). However, the quality of comedy was
still excellent First
act, John Warburton. Northern comedians
always prove popular at our club and John was no exception. He had great material
from start to finish. Great gag about a plane crashing in a grotty part of Birmingham
and the accident inspectors unable to find the crashed plane since it is all been
sold to the scrap metal merchant.
 Middle
act, Andy Kind
 Headliner
Junior Simpson - he
definately delivered the goods. 40 minutes of top notch comedy. The audience demanded
an encore

 Compere
was Kevin Shepherd - he was really
good. He is fairly new on the circuit, but he loads of gags and bags of confident.
The audeince really liked him
