Future Comedy Shows
Tuesday 17 July 2007

We have TWO 1 hour Edinburgh Festival shows for you at to the Cheeky Monkey comedy club on Tuesday 17th July.

In Edinburgh, these two shows would cost a combined price of £16 to see. We are only changing £5 (£4 concessions) plus a '£1 off the next show' voucher

The headline Edinburgh show is presented by Paul Sinha and is called 'King of the World'. At last years Edinburgh Festival, Paul was nominated for an If.comeddies award (formerly the Perrier Award). Paul's show this year deals with his unique take on life, death, binge drinking, trivia fanaticism, and finding redemption on the roulette tables of Las Vegas.

'Nigh-on perfect' - Independent

'Devastatingly good jokes' - Chortle

'Intelligent, original, confrontational... very funny indeed' - Telegraph

The support Edinburgh show is presented by Zoe Lyons and is called 'Fight or Flight' and deals with fear.

From wrestling snakes in Borneo, to throwing herself out of a plane at 2000 feet with a parachute that was far too small…. lying about her weight for fear of seeming a porker ….and finally having the guts to hang up her waitress apron and embarking on a career in stand up comedy.

In 2004, Zoe won the 'Babycham Funny Women' and reached the finals of 'Channel 4's So You Think You're Funny'. She has since been in great demand on the circuit and made numerous television and radio appearances.

Compere is Tom Wrigglesworth, who himself will be doing a show in Edinburgh.

Doors 8pm, show starts 8.30pm at the Station Pub, High Street, Kings Heath, Birmingham B14 7BB.
